Black Friday falls on Friday after Thanksgiving Day in America, and Cyber Monday falls the Monday after Thanksgiving Day. Cyber Monday was first noticed by shop.org in 2005. Cyber Monday is an online version to Black Friday. It allows customers to shop online from their homes and offices. Cyber Monday is a great day to shop online.

These 7 tips will help you maximize your affiliate sales on Cyber Monday and Black Friday.

1. Visit Your Affiliate Networks

To see which Cyber Monday deals are being offered by your merchants, log in to each affiliate network. Many affiliate networks provide links to holiday offers on their homepages, making it easy to find promotional materials. You can also search for Cyber Monday deals online. You can log in to CJ.com and go to Get Links > by Relationship to search for Cyber Monday. This will give you a complete list of banner links and text from all your merchants… er, those that have made it a point to call their promotions “Cyber Monday”.

2. You can check your affiliate emails

Your Inbox will be flooded with offers and deals if you have merchant emails set up. These offers are worth your attention! Sometimes it’s easier to grab a promo code with your affiliate link via email than to search for it on an affiliated network. Here’s an example email from Udemy that contained links and banners that were coded with my Cyber Deals affiliate ID.

An affiliate can promote their product much easier than a merchant! Simply copy and paste these coded links to your WordPress blog.

These emails should be carefully read. Cyber Monday deals are often limited by merchants. Not before a specific date.

3. Make your site festive

Use festive graphics in your blog posts to show that you celebrate Christmas. You can even change the logo to include a Santa hat or a sprig holly in it. You can also do as Google does…

4. Daily Cyber Monday Promotions Added to Your Blog

If you’re used to only blogging once per week, it is time to blog daily. Google will notice your site more often if you post more often, which means more traffic!

Use Aweber’s Blog Broadcast to notify your email subscribers about Cyber Monday and Black Friday deals posted on your blog. This is a one-time setup, and the article will automatically be sent to your email subscribers every time you post to your website.

6. Promote your posts on social media

If you have the opportunity, make sure to link back to your blog posts via Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn.

7. Google Alerts

To keep track of deals that your merchants (or affiliate competitors) blog about, set up Google Alerts search queries. Google Alerts is a content detection service that automatically notifies you when new content appears in news, web, blogs and/or discussion forums. The results will be sent to you by email.
