How to Use Agorapulse With TikTok

Agorapulse now integrates TikTok. You can manage comments, schedule content, publish TikToks to other channels, and receive Power Reports that include your TikTok Channel. Here’s a walkthrough of how to use Agorapulse with TikTok.

Why do we care about TikTok

App is quickly catching up to Facebook and Instagram in terms of popularity. TikTok app users spend an average of 26 hours per month using the app. They also open it eight times a day. Marketers are also seeing positive results from the platform.

A higher organic engagement rate on TikTok will result in more fans, interactions, web traffic and a better ROI for social media. TikTok has an average engagement rate of 10.53%. Instagram’s engagement rate is 0.96%. Facebook’s is 0.38%. Twitter is only 0.08%. Marketers are also tired of the old social networks, which offer poor engagement and customer service, as well as low-value advertising, an ageing demographic (possibly off target) and poor value advertising. TikTok offers marketers a fun and fresh way to reinvent themselves.

What you can do with Agorapulse’s TikTok integration

I’ve been playing around with the TikTok-Agorapulse Integration. Here are a few quick tips to save you some time.

Can you connect your personal TikTok Account? Agorapulse can only be linked to TikTok Business Accounts. Visit this TikTok page to find out how to convert your TikTok to a business account. It’s best to switch if your TikTok is for a company. There’s no legal risk if you are a company using the TikTok Sound Library. Switching to a TikTok business account is free. Can you add more than one TikTok account? You can add multiple social media accounts if your subscription plan allows for it. Select Switch Account, then log in to each TikTok profile. You can check your plan by visiting the Organization settings > Subscribe menu. This can only be done through TikTok API. You can add filters if you share a TikTok to another channel. This can only be done through TikTok API. This also applies to voiceovers, Duets, greenscreen, and overlay text. Stitches and Duets will be enabled automatically when you upload your video. If you don’t like them, you can disable them prior to posting (more about that later).Can social listening be performed? As of now, no. Can you reply to comments and manage them? Agorapulse can be connected to TikTok, so you can respond to comments from the same location as other profiles. Direct Messages are not included. Can you publish your TikTok video to other channels using Agorapulse? You can upload your TikTok videos from your phone or desktop using the Agorapulse advanced content calendar. TikTok is included in Power Reports, whether they are aggregated or individual. Power Reports can be used to show results and prove the ROI of social media efforts. It doesn’t matter if you are a social media manager, or a marketing firm.

You should first add your TikTok Business Account to Agorapulse. Click the “+” icon at the bottom of the screen to add a social profile. You will find the TikTok business account option on the main Connectpage.

After you click the +, you can log into your TikTok Account and authorize it. You can switch accounts if you are logged in to the wrong account. I’m always doing this.

TikTok tip: If you want all your channels grouped together, you can move them around in your dashboard in Settings/Organizational Settings/ Menu Groups. You can drag your profiles to the desired order.

Don’t forget to add your Social Media Dream Team

Don’t forget your team members when you add a social media profile in your Agorapulse Dashboard! You can add team members to each social media channel and adjust their permissions. This feature is great for companies that have a community manager and a social media manager. The one will upload the content and manage it, while the other will take care of comments. In a marketing agency such as ours, only team members who are directly involved in the account can be designated as admins. A role as an Admin can be used to publish content, conduct listening searches and produce reports.

How to publish TikTok videos from Agorapulse

You can publish a video on TikTok from the desktop or mobile Agorapulse application. Open your calendar to choose the time and date you wish to publish a video. Choose TikTok in the left-hand list of profiles, then enter your caption and upload your videos.

If you want to disable them, simply click on the pencil icon and switch the toggles off. TikTok tip – Create a TikTok video library. Marketers’ phones are stuffed with videos they can’t find when needed. Create a TikTok file and upload your videos to it. You can then add the videos to your posts. While sharing your TikToks on other channels may not be the best option for every brand, it can help you gain more followers. This is true, especially if the content of your TikTok is unique.



TikTok Quick Facts

Agorapulse allows you to view statistics by clicking on any published TikTok. No need to set any parameters or pull reports. You can access the same stats as those available in the TikTok application without opening it or having to look at each video.

The video below shows that 18.4% of people watched the entire video. This means that despite the video being only 30 seconds, 81.6% people did not watch it to the end. The video received 303 views which is fantastic considering that we only have 1K subscribers on this channel. Similar views were also recorded on our Facebook page with 31L fans. It is important to be able to easily view and interpret your TikTok statistics. This can be used to benchmark progress and improve future videos.



Social Media Inbox

Agorapulse allows you to view all of your TikTok comments in a single place. You can also review, assign, mark as done and reply there. You can interact with your fans in real-time as the comments are loaded.

Direct Messages and Listening are not available due to TikTok API limitations. You can monitor brand mentions on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. But not TikTok or LinkedIn. Facebook allows you to connect your Ad Account with Agorapulse, but we are unable to do so. This might change in the future, as social media is changing rapidly.





Power Reports and TikTok: the Dream Team

Power Reports are one of my favorites features on Agorapulse. The ability to create detailed reports on content and engagement, audience demographics, and comments is an important feature for a busy marketing firm. Manually collating all of this information can take hours. If you are creating reports for several channels, it could take an entire day.

You can create individual reports for each of your TikTok Business Accounts. You can add TikTok Accounts to aggregated reports.



Power Reports with TikTok Integration

You can immediately see a report about your audience, community and content. You can see your audience count, engagement average and impressions in the tab “Audience”. The audience tab also shows you the demographics of your audience and their most popular online hours.

You can view your content’s performance by clicking on the Content tab. This is useful if you publish a lot videos.



The last tab is community management, which displays how many responses you have sent and the amount of time you took to respond. You can see that we spent 33 hours and 26 minute to respond. But (upcoming disclaimer!) This was before we added TikTok into the Agorapulse App. We can now respond in real-time and reduce that number!



There’s still more to explore in the reporting department! You will enter Power Reports when you click on Create a Report. You can choose from a range of report formats, including single channel reports or aggregated reports.
